Riyadh Zoo Returns for Third Year With Interactive Experiences

RIYADH: Home to more than 1,400 animals from 190 species, Riyadh Zoo has reopened as part of Riyadh Season, offering new interactive and educational experiences for visitors of all ages.

Starting October 30, the zoo welcomed the public free of charge, with tickets available via the webook platform. Guests can explore animals in habitats designed to replicate their natural environments.

New attractions include the “Croc Cave,” where visitors can observe crocodiles from safe platforms, and the “Bird Zone,” which features exotic birds that guests can feed and engage with. The “Kangaroo Yard” allows visitors to interact with and photograph Australian kangaroos.

The zoo also introduced a bird show featuring trained birds performing tricks and routines, while an interactive farm offers hands-on activities to educate visitors about animal life and nature.
